Driving
If you’re driving here, we’ll give you directions to everything you need. All events are located in northern Virginia, a western suburb about 10 miles from Washington, DC. The hotel has plenty of space in its parking lot, with a nominal parking fee ($9/day). Parking will also be available at the temple, the restaurant, and at our home.
If you fly into any of the nearby airports, you can always rent a car too. Then you can easily get to any of the events over the weekend. |

Getting to the Hotel
Taxi - You can easily take a taxi from the airports or train station. Just walk outside, find the “taxi station,” and a taxi will cost between $40 - $50 (each way). Taxi drivers take cash and credit now. We don’t recommend hiring a car service, as that will cost more money.
Metro – From Reagan National Airport or from Union Station, you can take the Silverline metro from Regan National Airport or from Union Station, but be prepared to walk to the hotel (15 minute walk, and it’s a little tricky), or you could call the hotel shuttle from the Tysons Corner metro stop. Car Rental - You can rent a car at any of the nearby airports. |
Getting Around Town
Getting around the northern Virginia suburbs for the weekend’s events may be tricky.
Hotel shuttle – Please note that the hotel shuttle will only pick you up from nearby Tysons metro stops, the mall, and our house (2 miles from the hotel). It will NOT pick you up at the airport, and it will NOT get you to the services on Saturday morning. Find a friend – Also, we are NOT providing transportation to the services on Friday night or Saturday morning, so we recommend that you coordinate with other family members that are driving. The temple is less than 10 minutes away, but it’s in the suburbs and not accessible by public transportation. |
